New Earring Pattern!!! Tribal Edged Crochet Earrings







Materials:
Aunt Lydia’s Fashion Crochet Thread Size 3 (2 different colors)
Size 0/3.25MM hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Iron-safe scrap fabric

Fabric stiffener
Iron
2 Fish hook earring findings
2 Jump rings


Special stitches:
Join with slst – make a slip knot, place on hook, sc in specified st
Spike sc – sc over specified st

Start with magic ring

Rnd 1: ch 3, dc 11 in ring, join with slst to top of ch 3

Rnd 2: ch 3, dc in same st, *dc 2 in next st; repeat from * around, join with slst to top of ch 3

Rnd 3: ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next st, *dc 2 in next st, dc in next st; repeat from * around, join with slst to top of ch 3

Rnd 4: ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next 2 st, * dc 2 in next st, dc in next 2 st; repeat from * around, join with slst to top of ch 3, fasten off.

Rnd 5: Join B with slst to any st, ch 1, sc 2 in same st, sc in next 3 st, *sc 2 in next st, sc in next 3 st, repeat from * around, join with slst to first sc, fasten off.

Rnd 6: Join A with slst to any st, ch 1, sc in each st around, join with slst to first sc, fasten off.

Rnd 7: Join B with sc to any st, spike sc in next st, *sc in next st, spike sc in next st, repeat from * around, join with slst to first sc, fasten off.

Assembly:
Weave in all ends EXCEPT ends from last round. Use the ends from the last round to attach and secure a jump ring. Then attach fish hook to the jump ring making sure the fish is facing the back of the earring.

Spray both sides of the earrings with fabric stiffener. Allow to dry completely.

Once dry, place the earring under an iron safe fabric and iron the earring flat. You can also spray your earrings again for extra durability…

And your earrings are complete :-)
